A little history and our future

I enjoy creating quality products for dogs and their people. My little start-up began selling knitted scarves for dogs and then expanded with the “my favorite sweater.” Over a decade ago, I was staring at one of my old cotton crewneck sweaters thinking, “there’s a dog sweater in here somewhere.” Not seeing anything I had envisioned anywhere, I worked with a knitter in Maine to create a cotton sweater I wanted to sell. We went over several iterations until I was happy with the results.

That was years ago, now I’m working with new knitters and stocking up with new colors. I’m also working on variations of the sweater with even bulkier yarns. I’m also working on new sweater designs and fun sweatshirts for medium-sized dogs. I’ve also been adding t-shirts for people with fun graphics. I hope to offer artwork on canvas as well.

I’ve been working on two lines of products—the Happy Camper line and the Comfy line. I have a long checklist of products I hope to offer soon, such as mittens and scarves for people and blankets to keep you and your dog warm throughout the winter months. Happy campers keeping comfy!

Shipping and returns

Shipping for our KNITTED items:
We are always busy stocking our store with knitted items (dog sweaters/scarves and people scarves) as they are handmade. Orders are typically shipped within 10 days of ordering since they are handmade. If there is a backorder, we will let you know. Holiday months are tricky, so plan on ordering well ahead of time. You will receive an email on the day the order is shipped. We ship via USPS Priority with tracking. Allow 4 days for delivery.

Shipping delivery times for our TEES:
USA: 7 business days.
Canada: 10 business days.
International: 15 to 20 business days and subject to customs fees.
For a timely holiday arrival (USA and Canada), order by December 10.

My order never arrived.
Unless you paid for guaranteed overnight shipping, exact delivery is never a certain. If your order didn’t arrive beyond 5 days after your shipment comfirmation email, be sure to let us know! First check your shipping confirmation and check that you entered the correct address. If the address was incorrect, though we’d be happy to send you another order to the correct address, it will have to be at your cost. If the shipping address was correct, please contact us noting your order number. We’ll see what can be done.

My order arrived damaged.
The last thing we want is for you to be stuck with a damaged item. If it arrives damaged, please contact with us within 5 days.

My order is the wrong size.
Tees: If you aren’t happy with the size you received, first check that the size stated on the garment matches the size stated on the sizing chart. Although rare, it is possible that the garment was mislabelled. Let us know, and we’ll sort it out. If you would like a different size, please email us. We’ll work with you to get a preferable size.

Knitted apparel: If a dog sweater/scarf doesn’t fit your dog to your liking, let us know. We design our sweaters to fit looser than tight, so please order a size that offers some wiggle room, just a reminder that the cotton “Favorite Sweater” and striped tube scarves comes preshrunk (washed and dried), other sweaters are wool/acrylic blends and should be washed in a gentle cycle and dried flat. If a scarf doesn’t fit you the way you would like, let us know. In either case, please return the item within 5 days of receiving it for a refund, a larger size, or another option if available—whichever works best.
