Birthday: November 11, 2007

Favorite toy(s)? I like to chew on a stuffed bone, bully stick, or a plastic bone for about two minutes. I’ve never been a fan of fluffy toys.

Favorite thing(s) to do?
Eating, riding shotgun, curling up in one of my many beds around the house, sitting in my mom’s lap, and playing keep-away with pops.

Favorite place(s) to go?
All the dog-friendly stores and restaurants.

Anything else you’d like to add?
I’m super tiny, but big on personality. I get to go everywhere with my folks. My frenchie dad was an AKC champion, and I won a ribbon in a show when I was a puppy.

But more importantly, I recently had a dental exam. In the past year mom has found some of my teeth in the bed, and she decided it was time to get my mouth checked out. The vet pulled out more teeth, and now my tongue sticks out sometimes when I’m sleeping, because there’s nothing there to hold it in. Mom thinks it’s cute. The real story is that I had a squishy lump on my butt cheek for a while, and it was thought that it was a fatty lipoma. During my dental exam it was aspirated, and the results proved otherwise—it was a mast cell tumor. They like to spread to the spleen and tummy.

So, I had an appointment with an oncologist. He did an ultrasound of my tummy and extracted some cells from my spleen, and luckily all was clear. To add to the mix, my heart skips a beat—several beats actually. If you hold me to your ear, you won’t hear anything for a while, and then there’s a few quick beats. I have valve disease, so I had a cardiologist do an echo, and he gave me a hit of atropine. I responded positive to that, which means that when I’m under anesthesia, my heart can be regulated. The tumor was removed with great margins and was considered to be in the low grade variety. My mom is ecstatic. I’m still just my mean little self, acting up like I normally do, because nothing stops me.

Favorite toy(s)? I’m not really into toys, just give me treats.

Favorite thing(s) to do? Sleeping upside down all day! I love snuggling with my people watching movies! I’m a Netflix and chill kinda guy.

Favorite place(s) to go? It’s got to be the couch. After all, that’s where we watch movies, snuggle, and snack!

Birthday: July 9, 2017, my mom’s mom’s birthday.

Favorite toy(s)? The tag on a throw rug fascinates me and fingers, but not really into toys.

Favorite thing(s) to do? Stretching out on the couch, crashing on the human bed, snuggling, showing off my amazing yoga poses, playing with mom because my big sister Betty is a snob, and sneaking into her super small beds.

Favorite place(s) to go? Anywhere mom takes me.

Anything else you’d like to add?
I’ve been to a dog show, and they tell me I’m going to more of them. I’m the most laid-back dude ever, and when I have to model clothes, you should see mom jumping around behind the camera trying to keep my eyes open.

Aggie the pug

Aggie visited for a few minutes years ago. A neighbor was pet-sitting her, and we did a little photoshoot of her modeling our puppy scarves.
